About Us

We are a group of like minded people, concerned with the welfare of beach and street animals in The Gambia.

We are a registered charitable organization and our time and resources are given freely so that all donations and money raised benefits the animals.

Where are we?

We are based in The Greater Banjul Area of The Gambia which is the most densely populated area with many tourists visiting during the season – October to April.

Some of our volunteers are living in Kotu, Kololi, Fajara. Cape Point/ Bakau and Senegambia areas.

Our members

Our membership is  growing steadily and already includes people from many countries.

At this date, November 2011 we have currently 212 names on our Contact List.

Founder members from left:

Anna  has lived in The Gambia since 1985.
Sue has been involved with The Gambia since 1999. She also lives with 2 owned and several foster dogs
Bernie has lived here since 1998 and has 3 dogs, all rescued
Alida was born in The Gambia and lives with many dogs and cats and she and her husband have a beautiful baby son born in Jan 2011.
