Alida arrived at our first official meeting, carrying a tiny tortoiseshell kitten which had been dumped outside her gate.  This was indeed proof of how much our planned organisation was needed.
A visiting businessman fell in love with Alidas kitten when he saw her in Alidas office. He adopted the kitten and she now lives with him in the USA.
