The same lady who found Storm had a very sad week in late September. She found a very young puppy, just 4-6 weeks old abandoned on a rubbish dump. This youngster was taken to the Veterinary Surgeon and sadly he was riddled with maggots. A parasite expert thinks they were probably called Screw Worms. These are nasty invaders and eat into the animal rather than out and are especially virulent and sadly this very young dog had to be put to sleep as he was so badly affected. At least this young one had a more dignified death and is no longer suffering.

Once again these are very horrific photos to show here on our Website and we apologise for the upset they may cause. Please do remember though there are many very happy outcomes for most of the rescued animals and it is thanks to all of you for your kindness, support and generosity that we are able to save so many of them and offer them a better life.
