This month we once again experienced kindness and thoughtfulness from a couple who are living in the Fajara area. Their names are Sue and Derek and they had noticed a young female scavenging a rubbish tip in their street. After some days they realised she had given birth to 8 puppies and being such a considerate couple they bought Bella and her pups into their compound for safe keeping. Sadly a few days later one pup was very poorly and was euthanized. The remaining 7 pups are growing and blossoming and already Sue and Derek think they have found homes for maybe 4 or 5. Bella is being a devoted mother and thanks to Sue and Derek she and her pups now have a chance. The ACA will vaccinate and spay as and when the time is right. It is people like this couple who help the ACA to achieve a better life for distressed and unwell dogs, and for all those kind people we are extremely grateful.
