Why are we needed?

Many animals here roam free on the beach and streets, having to fend for themselves, they have little shelter and are often physically in a very poor condition.  There is very little control over their breeding and consequently the population is growing excessively.  The existing resources are negligible and many are in urgent need of medical attention.

Balto

Balto
Balto was found living on the street after being abandoned by his owners. He was starving and had a skin complaint, common to many dogs here in The Gambia. The treatment of this cronic condition is expensive and prolonged.

The action we propose?

We intend to raise and provide funds for essential medication for the beach and street animals, improve their living conditions, provide support to people fostering abandoned animals, make funds available for neutering animals to reduce reproduction, re-home abandoned animals and advance the education of the public towards animal welfare.
